The Euless Trinity girls held off fast-closing Irving MacArthur for a 66-64 win in a key District 7-5A game that left Trinity (24-5, 7-1) in first place. MacArthur (19-10, 6-3) remains in second place.
Southlake Carroll beat Keller Central 93-38 in a District 5-5A girls matchup. Central was missing one starter due to injury and lost two more in the first quarter after both drew technical fouls and were sent to the bench by their coach.

P.J. Colley and Willie Warren, North Crowley: Colley had a season-high 21 points and 15 rebounds, and Warren scored a game-high 30 points and had 10 assists in a 108-70 win against Fort Worth Paschal.
Alex Laywell, Colleyville Covenant: The senior point guard scored a season-high 29 points, including five 3-pointers, in Covenant's 62-53 win against Fort Worth Calvary.
GIRLS
Donna Jackson, Arlington Martin: Jackson scored 21 points to lead the Warriors to a 52-41 win over Arlington Sam Houston in District 8-5A. The victory moved Martin into a tie for third place in the district with Sam Houston.
Shauntal Nobles, Justin Northwest: Nobles, a junior post, scored 18 points to lead the Texans to a 48-44 win over Keller in District 5-5A.
