Cougars Sign Letters of Intent

National Signing Day saw two CCA seniors sign letters of intent with out of state universities.  Kourtney Squires, who has been at Covenant since Pre-K, will attend Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina, on a track scholarship.  Kourtney has been a member of Covenant's last three TAPPS 3A State Championship Girls' Track teams. Her parents are Keith and Kathy Squires. She has been coached by Dennis Harris.  

First-year Covenant student Brett Maxie led the Cougar football team to the playoffs as quarterback, and will play for Central Oklahoma University in Edmond, Oklahoma. Brett is the son of former NFL player and current coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Brett Maxie, Sr., and his wife Angela.
