COVENANT... All of human history is characterized by covenants, God's covenants with his people, and our covenants with one another. This is true of CCA as well. A covenant education is exemplified by Bible believing parents partnering with passionate teachers, to model an inspiring faith in a Christian community. CHRISTIAN... In the same way 'Christian' is the center of our name, Christianity is the center of our institution. We are distinctively and unashamedly Christian. Our rigorous academics are grounded by way of biblical worldview. We strive to produce students who are ready for college and influence the culture around them. We cannot do this by insulating them from the world. Instead, we work to inoculate them, showing them the broad scope of perspectives on life juxtapositioned with the truth of Christianity. In the end, we cultivate Christ-like students who understand their faith and who are able to stand against the trials and tests that inevitably come their way. ACADEMY... As an academy, we celebrate our classical roots. Plato established the first academy and began a tradition that we proudly follow. Whether you look to Plato, the ancient Jewish synagogues, the teaching of Christ, the Roman school system, the scholastics of the middle ages, or the founding fathers of our great nation, we anchor ourselves to the tremendous lessons learned throughout human history on how best to educate a child. While we find our foundation in the pedagogical excellence of the past, we also look for innovation. Just as each of the aforementioned groups were innovators in their own time, we look to do the same. CCA is a place where the richness of the past meets the transformations of the future.
